Microsoft Patch Tuesday for June
2012 Brings Seven Security Bulletins
The seven
bulletins amount to three of them being critical, the highest
possible designation for the Microsoft operating system. The other
four bulletins are only slightly less important, but they will be of
great concern as well. These remaining four updates for June 2012
Microsoft Patch Tuesday are classified as Important.
The key security
flaw this month that the Microsoft team is looking to deal with and
why the updates are so critical, is due to the face that the Flame
Malware has been released.
This malware leads
to remote code executions which can mean potential disasters,
spreading it to other machines in the system. This is why those
security technicians at Microsoft have been working tirelessly around
the clock, among other vulnerabilities being fixed this month.
It is highly
recommended that the IT Departments in many major companies work to
install this month's round of updates immediately. Especially the
updates which have marked critical, as they will minimize the affects
caused by the Flame Malware.
June 2012 Patch
Tuesday brings the total bulletins for 2012 up to 35, an
extraordinary amount for only the first half of the year, as there
will be six more patch Tuesdays throughout the year. The updates are
released at 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time/12:00 PM Central Standard
Time. As always, a restart of your computer is likely to make sure
the updates.
Ensure these
updates get installed as soon as possible for Patch Tuesday as it is
followed by exploit Wednesday where those maliciously users
ruthlessly target your machine.
